The ACE Ambassador Leadership Programme

Developed collaboratively by Kent County Council, Angel Lane CIC and Public Health Academy, the ACE Ambassador leadership programme supports people to learn together, share knowledge and ideas and test out possible solutions to reduce the impact of childhood adversity and trauma.

The approach recognises that reducing the impact of ACEs requires leadership across multiple organisations to support a system wide shift in thinking and practice. It increases the capacity of practitioners and community leaders to come together to generate positive change.

ACE Ambassador learning journey

This diagram captures the different aspects of the learning journey, from identifying a programme place to developing change ideas that impact on the wider community and provide inspiration for others looking to take forward shifts in practice to reduce the impact of ACEs.

Host an ambassador programme

The ACE Ambassador programme is a place-based approach to system change. For your organisation, community or setting we can offer the fully facilitated 100-day programme or a ‘hosted’ version where we share facilitation. Or we can find a solution tailored to local needs and resources.

With the aim of rapidly increasing awareness of ACEs, shorter versions of the programme are offered for those seeking to join the programme delivery team, or to become ‘ACE Champions’ sharing learning with your own team or setting.
